To use SaoPay, you must register for an account by providing accurate and up-to-date personal information, including but not limited to your name, contact details, and government-issued identification for verification purposes. You are responsible for keeping your account information secure and agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
As a regulated financial service, we are required to comply with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations. By creating an account, you consent to our verification of your identity, which may include sharing your information with third-party verification service providers.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information and for all activities that occur under your account. We offer additional security features, such as PINs, passwords, and Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). Enabling these security features is strongly recommended.

All transactions initiated through SaoPay are subject to processing times and applicable fees, which are outlined on our Fees page. You are responsible for any fees or charges incurred while using the Services. Transactions may be subject to limits based on regulatory requirements and account status.
You may add funds to your wallet through linked payment methods, including but not limited to bank accounts, debit/credit cards, and other approved methods. Withdrawals may be subject to verification and processing time. We reserve the right to restrict funding and withdrawals in cases of suspected fraud or unauthorized activity.
Any dispute arising from your use of the Services will first be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If the dispute cannot be resolved, it will be subject to binding arbitration or court proceedings, in accordance with the laws of Sao Tome and Principe.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SaoPay is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of funds due to unauthorized access, transaction errors, or service interruptions.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or are engaged in any fraudulent or unlawful activities. You may close your account at any time by contacting our support team.
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By agreeing to these Terms, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted in the app and on our website. Continued use of the Services following any changes indicates acceptance of the new Terms.
